We’re bringing back the magic of the legendary Bop nights that once made New Earswick Folk Hall famous!

Do you remember when Pink Floyd or Procol Harum graced our stage in the 60s? Now it’s time to relive that spirit with a modern twist.

Join us for Back to the Bop – an evening of incredible live music and dancing, featuring:
DJ Geoff spinning classic hits
The 5:15s performing the best of the 50s through the 80s

  2. My mother – Dorothy Atkinson (1909 – 1998) played the piano and started the Bop in the Folk Hall.
    (Her mother opened the corner of Station Avenue bakery and her brother opened the garage petrol station)
