Post Office

There’s a great range of services at New Earswick Post Office, based at the Folk Hall since January 2017.

Welcome to New Earswick Post Office, where our friendly team can help you with a variety of services. For example, you can:

send inland and international parcels
do your personal and business banking, including cash withdrawals and deposits, and cheque deposits.
buy and cash Postal Orders
pay bills (by cash or card)
top up utility keys and cards
top up your mobile
buy stamps.

We are also a DPD collection and drop off point as well as an Amazon Hub. You can get Amazon parcels sent to the Post Office for collection, and we can help you if you need to return unwanted goods – no packaging required if sent via the hub! We recently became an Evri Parcelshop where you can come to send, return, collect parcels and print labels.

Because we’re a Post Office Local, there are some services we can’t offer at the Folk Hall. This includes taxing vehicles, driving licenses and passport services. You can access these services at main Post Office branches. Check the Post Office website for the service you require.

We have a small shop that sells a beautiful range of greetings cards, stationery, gifts and sweet treats. We are always looking to improve our service so if there is something we don’t have that you think we should, let us know!
