Family Festive Film: The Santa Clause

It’s that time of year again and we invite you to join us for our yearly Family Christmas Film. Come along to the Folk Hall on Sunday 15th December and enjoy a showing of The Santa Clause. There will be food available for all ticket holders, included in the cost of the ticket, for people to tuck into at the start of the film. We will also have a selection of craft activities for people to enjoy! Then it is onto the film!

Divorced dad Scott (Tim Allen) has custody of his son (Eric Lloyd) on Christmas Eve. After Santa accidently falls from the roof, Scott and his son are magically transported to the North Pole, where an elf explains that Scott must take Santa’s place before the next Christmas arrives. Scott thinks he’s dreaming, but over the next several months he gains weight and grows an inexplicably white beard. Maybe that night at the North Pole wasn’t a dream after all — and maybe Scott has a lot of work to do.

Enjoy this brilliant film among friends in our relaxed and beautiful hall, created by Joseph Rowntree to bring communities together under one roof.
