There are some incredibly creative people in the New Earswick Community and we are celebrating one of those today. In honour of the coronation of King Charles III, a member of the Tuesday Craft group has made this incredible Post Box Topper. All hand made in the shape of a crown and with the royal purple colours, it really is a wonderful achievement.
Lisa has spent weeks assembling this mighty crown, cutting, knitting and fastening!
The Topper will be on display from Tuesday 2nd May and will be outside the Folk Hall until Friday 12th between 9am and 5pm.
Lisa is a member of the Tuesday craft group, they are a friendly and welcoming gathering of creative crafters. You can come and share your creations, meet new people, have a chat and most important get crafting! Meeting upstairs on the the Mezzanine between 9am and 12pm every week.
