Wilberforce Trust YorSensory Mobile Outreach comes to the Folk Hall

Coming next week, The Mobile Outreach Service brings information and advice directly to your local area where a team of friendly staff and volunteers will be on hand to provide help with any vision or hearing problem that may be affecting you, a family member or friend.

When: August 25th 10am to 1pm

Where: The New Earswick Folk Hall on the Mezzanine

They aim to find solutions to help you to feel able to cope and manage your life. If you have been newly registered with a Certificate of Visual Impairment you will probably have questions. You may have a hearing loss and have questions about equipment and services. They have specialist vision loss and hearing loss knowledge. Their Outreach Service offers a chance to speak with professionals who can offer further help and advice around things like benefits and daily life.

Special Guests: Julie Day, Sensory Awareness Training Officer, Karen Wright & Gemma Urwin, York CVS
